stuck at 20 pound loss

I can't get past this first twenty - kept it off since 2010 - want to lose 30 more - need to kick SOMETHING ELSE INTO GEAR!! Training for a 5k obstacle course in May - any suggestions??

    No suggestions unfortunately because I've been stuck at a 23lb. loss for months now and still have a ways to go too. Looking forward to reading any replies.
  • A friend suggested that I 'shock' my body and do some activities that I don't normally do to it for exercise. So I'm in!! Did a cardio blast work out yesterday - and going to jump on a trampoline for an hour today! It has to be fun or I won't do it. Also - no more butter, no more cheese. That's all I can cut out for now - we have no snacks from packages around the house...so I also need to kick in a 'shock' with my diet. Not a drastic eating less diet...but the butter and stuff can go...

    Yes, I definitely think the key is doing something different. And motivation helps, I think that's where I'm stuck right now because there is so much going on in other areas of my life.

    Even going on a fifteen minute walk is better than nothing...it doesn't have to be a GYM workout or big production every time...hang in there!!
