Museum of Sex (potentially for mature audiences only?)

So, today the girlfriend and I took a day trip to NYC, and with nothing better to do we paid a visit to the Manhattan Museum of Sex. Pretty cool stuff, the first floor was about animal mating and sexuality. The second floor was a history of sex and video, which as you could guess was a lot of porn, combined with a history of film (and censorship) in the US. Finally, the top floor was a bunch of miscellaneous toys, prophylactics through history, and art. The art was what really caught my attention, I finally got to see 3 real life Keith Haring paintings, one of my all time favorite artists.

Definitely worth a visit if anyone lives in or around the city!

Also, right across the street is a very awesome sandwich shop/restaurant which is both vegetarian and vegan friendly. The food was awesome!

There's lots to be enjoyed there. I'm going there this summer, actually. Can't wait! Or, actually, I can... got a weight loss goal before I go :happy: I actually walked by the MoS in NYC this weekend - I live nearby. I was VERY amused by the signs and images on there, and was kind of hoping to overhear a kid make an innocent comment to an uncomfortable parent.

thanks for the crazy random post! museum of sex sounds hawt glad to hear there are parts of the world where vegetarians don't have to be as underground as we are here in LA- will def check it out on my next trip up there!
