Hey everyone!!

Can anyone tell me any other low impact workouts, besides walking, seems like thats all Im doing, and someone told me that I will never lose the amount of weight I want to lose ( 25-30 pounds) by just walking...... but I lead a really sedentary life style, so I dont feel comfortable just jumping into something high impact......Any advice would be great! Thanks in advance! :)

IMHO, if you're reducing your calorie intake, use the food diary to make sure you're getting the basic nutrients you need, plus add (brisk) walking if you currently don't do it, that alone should at least get you a decent way to your goal. Talk to your Dr to see what they would recommend for you, depending on your goals and timeline. I know some people enjoy cycling and spinning. If you get a membership somewhere, elliptical machine, stair machine (plus use the stairs instead of elevator wherever you can!), swimming, Zumba, etc.

You will have a better chance of reaching your goal doing something you enjoy than sticking with a workout routine you don't like because someone else said it's the best way to loose weight.

Start out with walking and lowering your calorie intake (relative to pre-MFP), see where and how fast that gets you. If the results aren't as good as you would like, go from there.
