Fitness Class Dilema...

So, I bought a punch pass for Zumba with "So~and~so". The class is awesome. I love it.

The thing is, business is going so well that So~and~so is teaching at two places now. Recently, she started having someone else start taking over 50% of the class that I attend. I'm not so crazy about the new instructor. Very different style and music : (

I'm thinking I'd like a refund....I have no problem marching into a BIG BOX store and saying I bought "blah blah blah" and it's not what I wanted and returning it.

However, when it comes to a Small business, it seems so personal, I don't wanna hurt anyones feelings, but this class isn't what I paid for.

How would you handle this???

  • I would just say it's not your style. You found someone you like and you'd ike to stick with them. You're not getting what you pay for is right. I go to the same instructor twice a week, and I love her! I wouldn't go if it weren't for her. I tried to go somewhere else with a friend and didn't like the style...so I won't be making that a habit.

Thanks, I ended up emailing her and simply asked when she would be teaching the class "exclusively" again. I told her that I really like her class and look forward to it.

She got right back to me and said that this is just temporary until he builds up his confidence to teach his own class...knowing that, I'm willing to stick it out. Otherwise, I was totally going to ask for a refund on my punch pass.

I reallt love this Zumba class and am happy it should be back to normal soon : )
