Bananas

I've been told by various people that bananas are not good for someone trying to lose weight. Now, they were not reliable sources by all means but I was wondering if there is any validity to that statement. I freaking love bananas and eat one during my post-workout breakfast. They are full of nutrients and are low in fat but are high in carbs and sugar.
What is your take on this? Are bananas harming my fat loss journey?
Side Note: Today's NSV...I walked over 7miles without breaking a sweat. Prior to taking up spinning I could only handle 5 miles at a time.

No, there's nothing wrong with bananas.
Like all fruit, they are high in sugars and carbs, and they're bit higher in calories than other fruits (but not by much - 100 for a 'nana versus 70 for an apple, roughly). If they fit within your daily plan, go for it!0 -
Bananas will only hinder your weight loss if they are Bananas in pajamas and are coming down the stairs and are chasing teddy bears0
