Fiber: how much is too much?

Based on the title I feel like I'm writing an expose on broccoli gone bad or something. 
Really, though.... MFP has my fiber set at 16 and I'm already up to 26 for the day before logging dinner. I just turned on tracking for fiber and sodium, and looking back through my food diary (feel free to check it out) sodium is seeming a lot more reasonable than I thought, and I'm regularly over on my fiber intake.
Thoughts? Feelings?

I have read that women under 50 should be getting 20 to 25 Grams per day. So 16 seems low.0
