Strange bruise after swimming?

I've just been swimming for the first time in ages and when i came out and looked in a mirror I noticed a strange mark under my nose. It looks a bit like bruising but there is no tenderness. I seem to remember getting the same mark on holiday after swimming. I wondered if anyone can explain it. Cheers
