Hitting Macros - Fat v. Carbs

When trying to hit macros, is it "better" to go over in carbs or fat? Goal: Lower body %, i.e., burn fat & build muscle.

I'm 15g under carb and 23 g over fat limits for today. I know there's a lot of guidance/articles/experienced bodybuilders that aim for low-carb to cut. In terms of daily macros, would it be better to go over in carbs or fat (when I have to)?

I don't think it'll matter for weightloss as long as you are in a deficit. However, I think carbs are more muscle sparing than fat.
