When I first started my mother first called me obsessive, my Dad accused me of starving myself.
Now, my Dad sees that I'm being healthy and am back in a healthy weight range, comments that I'm doing it the right way and it's good that I'm doing this now (I'm 26) so hopefully I wont get Diabetes (it runs in the family). And my mother is now on this site and helps me by making healthier choices when I eat dinner at her place.
Anyone else have friends or family who are now supportive?

lol I have the opposite problem. At first some people I know were like, "HELL YEAH! You go girl!" Then as I started to lose weight these people seemed to become jealous that I was losing weight, working out harder than they ever have and I've even gotten a few dirty looks for ordering salad instead of a big ole cheeseburger like them.
It's pretty funny.
(I don't talk to these people much anymore)0 -

Wow, that sucks! I can't believe people would be so petty!0 -
I think it's because they are still being fat fat fatties and don't want to actually see that people can change.
I DO have some people that were telling me I was eating "like a bird" and working out too much that are now cheering me on because they see how much energy and joy I have now too though.0 -

Well that's good! That's the sort of thing I was hoping for. We see so many posts about miserable people, I was hoping for some happy stories...0 -
Oh trust me, I know the feeling. That's why I had to add that I think the current new haters are funny. It just gives me more inspiration. There's a reason they're hating and are jealous. 'Cause I'm awesomer now.0
