Hey all, I am a 29 yr old single mom from MA. My son just turned 11 a week ago and I just turned 29 on Monday. Before I got pregnant I weighed 150lbs. Day of birth I weighed 202lbs. 11 yrs later I started out 2012 at 216lbs. I am down to 203lbs right now and am beyond proud of myself. I have always wanted to lose the weight, but was never motivated. About a week into January I really just said "I"m gonna do this" and haven't looked back! My long term goal is to be back down to 150lbs. I'm giving myself the whole year to get there, but deep down would love for it to happen faster. I love MFP b/c it helps me keep on track and also helps w/ the reality of the situation. I know tracking my calories is a huge help for me. It holds me accountable. I also try and get on the treadmill every day for at least 30 minutes. My best friend, who is also on here, is a huge help to me. She is my biggest supporter and I would be lost w/o her. I support her in anyway I can as well. I would love to make more friends on here so feel free to friend me if you'd like.
