I know what you mean stacey My dog that passed was my first dog I got her as soon as we bought our own place she used to lie on the sofa with me when I was pg with no.1 I cried so much when she died her heart gave up and she was in organ failure it was a mad rush to the vets on a bank holiday she died in my arms it was such a horrible feeling as she slipped away still warm on my lap on the way home too I didnt put her down til it was time to place her in the ground and our other dog cliff helped he was right next to me as I lay her in the ground licking the tears off my face I still miss her even though we did buy a puppy 6 weeks before she died it was no help even now I fill with tears I dont think you ever forget your first dog they are like your first child. Toffee was only just 8 and I feel robbed of years that should have been and I am terrified of making that decision again but you know dont they say it is the last act of true love that you can show your dog.

Anyway really tired today so just did a load of housework gonna get some ironing done in a bit went shopping booked some more things for our disney trip 6 weeks today getting sooo close.

Well as well as everything else we decided not to try for baby for the next couple of months with the holiday coming I didnt want to be ill while we were away but I think I have messed up started birth control at he beginning of the month but missed 2 pills over easter (this is why I dont like the pill life can get so hectic it is too easy to forget) now with AF due in 4 days I am feeling tired queasy and my breasts are really tender and I have to go the toilet every 2 mins now I am worried after deciding I didnt want to get preggo this month that maybe I am well will have to wait and see what next week brings it could just be a bug.

Puppies are on their way woohoo!!!!!!:smile:

    :smokin: I ROCK!

only here could i brag like that and not sound completely obnoxious!
i did a dvd i haven't done for a while and used 3 lb handweights (as opposed to the 1lb soup cans i usually use). It definitely challenged me!! But i did the whole dvd as well as a diff one before that. YAY me!

now, i'm beat and have no energy left for the kids.
    they're fighting AGAIN. must run!

    Hey all!

well, I'm very pleased this morning. I took new measurements since Jan (granted a lot of this is post-partum loss) but I'm down over 9 inches total! The scale certainly doesn't show it--only a 4 lb difference, but at least my body is showing it.

thanks Stacey. It feels good to know that something is happening because the number on the scale is depressing. I'm actually up a pound today...sigh...but it's the TOM so maybe that's why?

pretty much all the women who still have tom are forever going up at that time. many just stay away from the scale--b/c it's wrong and frustrating. and women who weigh 1x/month don't do it then. hormones, water wt, etc. put that scale away and drink your water.

i don't get tom so it's not an issue for me.

Congrats!! I am one that doesn't see much change on the scale either, so I'm glad you see it in inches! :flowerforyou:

the yard sale was a huge success. very busy the entire 6 hours.. I sat maybe 10 minutes of that entire time and felt like I had 5 knives in my back at the end. BUT once we added up the profits, we were VERY satisfied and amazed! We only have a little bit left so will probably call amvets to come pick it up

I'm still pretty sore this morning but plan to work out anyway just to see if it helps. you know how sometimes when you're hurting it actualy feels better to get up and move? so here's hoping!

Hi all how we all doing.

I got good news friday morning puppies were born and there was 4 blue merle boys so fingers crossed one will be show quality will have to wait another 4 weeks or so to find this out but I have first choice so yeah I feel like it is finally happening.

I am feeling a bit fed up no exercise not happening so tired did preg test this affy and it was a faint positive so mixed feellings about it been feeling sickly last few days so not eating a great deal but worse water turns my stomach I was so hoping to have gotten away with my slip up with the birth control as I really didnt want to be my first trimester on hol as I usually get quite sick until about 12 weeks I will just have to get mind over matter and just do whatever to make sure the holiday isnt spoilt and I enjoy myself. AF due on wed so gonna retest then if no af but isnt it typical last month I wanted this badly then this month I would rather it wasnt happening but thats life.

Exercise been non existant diet pretty rubbish need to try harder.

Tazzy--a faint positive is stil a positive. Congratulations! Were you trying? Congrats on the puppies also!

AFM--been having a crappy week--all around--TOM, finance problems, work issues, too much stress altogether, baby going through a growth spurt + teething (at least the start anyways), and still don't have my voice back. Sigh...I want ot eat everything in sight. Don't want ot exercise (haven't much either) and just want to give up all around. Praying that next week has some upwards turns...

  • Tazzy, I agree. A faint positive is still a positive.... I was faint with one of mine, and doctor told me that home pregnancy tests will give more false negatives than false positives, so congrats! :flowerforyou:

Well, I'm not doing so well either. I have not been pigging out like crazy or anything but not exactly making the smartest choices and not been working out. It's wierd. I *want* to but just can't get the energy and then get so easily distracted. And I've been fighting a headache since yesterday morning. So I need to kick my own butt into gear and try harder. On the up side, I did manage to lose a pound this week (don't ask me how).

I hope all goes better for all of us that are in a funk in the new week!!
