i was wondering if someone could shed a little light about food after work outs or late night snacking. There are a few times a week where i wok out late i usally have supper about and hour prior to working out (i usually get a a pain in my side if i dont wait) when i am done my wok out its usually around 830-9, by the time i am done i am starving again. Is it ok to eat afterwards? does anyone have any reccomendations on what i should have as a snack any insight would be helpful

If your tummys going crazy have a quick snack. I would eat an apple or some carrots. Something that will fill you up but not have a ton of calories.0

when in doubt, get the protein out (and put it in your mouth)
chocolate milk is always a good after workout quick easy thing0 -
It doesn't matter what time of day you eat; it's all calories in vs. calories out. I tend to eat most of my calories after 5 PM, and I eat until I go to bed. No negative effects on weight; I'm living proof!0

After a workout, you need to fuel your body! This is also the only safe time to consume sugar. Your body needs both protein and sugar to help rebuild and to refill.0
