I have GERD. Eating before working out isn't one of my choices.

Personal preference. Whatever works best for you.

I tend to eat something light after a workout. I do not get home until 7pm and usually am working out by 8 so its always something light for me afterward.

I eat after I work out - Although I make sure I have a decent size snack an hour or 2 before I leave work.

I think whatever works for you. I prefer before but it doesn't always worked out that way.

I agree. I can't work on a full stomach, but my daughter can't work out when she hasn't eaten. I think it is your preference.

when body builders are trying to lean they workout in the morning (women) on empty stomach...but i find as a normal person...i eat a light healthy carb before my workout and if i did a heavy hardcore workout with weights or circuit training I eat a reasonable protein bar after.

So maybe eat a light snack before then eat a small sensible healthy dinner after.

I can't workout after eating... it makes me feel like I'll vomit at any moment. :-x I much prefer morning, empty stomach, or if I have to go in the afternoon, it needs to be at least three hours since I've had something to eat. Unless it's just walking. I can eat an apple and still go for a walk. :)

I'd say personal preference but don't exercise on an empty stomach either. Light snack before if you can't handle a full meal before. Your body needs the fuel.

Also, I'd say it depends on how intense your workout is. If it's a light workout, it's probably ok to do whatever. The harder and more intense the work out, the more your body needs in order to sustain during and recover following work outs.
