1500 CALORIES

I am 9 stone 13 pounds and trying to get down to at least 9 stone 7. My calorie allowance worked out from my settings is 1200 calories but this is way too low for me. I even feel hungry all the time if I stick to 1500 calories per day. Any advice and should I just suffer the hunger until I get to goal weight?

Exercise!!! That way you can eat way more than 1500 cals in a day! : )0

you don't have much to lose--so a small deficit is enough. Try 1800-2000 calories with 60 minutes of working out 5-6 days a week and you'll lose--mostly fat since the deficit will be smaller.
If you incorporate some strength training and intervals you'll rev your metabolism and maintain your lean muscle mass. I'd actually recommend alternating 45-60 minute steady state cardio days with 20 minutes of intervals days--and on the interval days also do 30-45 minutes of strength training. Then take 1-2 days off a week.0 -
Yes I know you are right - I am in denial!! Lol. Thanks for the advice - nothing is easy hey. Some weeks I have loads of energy to get up before work and exercise - other weeks not so good!0

Thanks for the advice. I work full time and find it so hard to exercise that amount a week but I think you are dead right - its the only way forward to lose that last bit - no pain no gain! (or lose as the case may be)!0

well, you CAN commit 30 minutes---anyone can. just commit to it. same plan just cut everything in 1/2. Eat about 1600-1700 calories and take it slow.
I eat ~1800-2100 calories to LOSE and I'm 4'11 and 100 pounds (or thereabouts). I exercise quite a bit but my burns are only ~600 calories, whereas yours will be ~300 with 30 mins....since your sedentary burn is greater than mine I'd assume you'd have equal success eating 1600-1700.0 -
Another option to get more cals is to change your weekly weight loss goal to 1.0 to 0.5 lbs/week instead of 2, if that is what you went with.0
