Recently, I've seen a lot of post for "clean" recipes and I'm really not sure what this means. Can anyone enlighten me?

My definition of clean is choosing food that is unlikely to have a lot of toxins in it or cause allergic reactions and foods that haven't been broken down and separated.
This is a good book on the subject:

"Don't eat things that have ingredients, eat things that are ingredients". Heard that quote once, of course most people can't live by it completely but it says pretty much0
