  • If you have a smartphone, you can use the app before you go. I put in the restaurant we are going to (if it is a chain) and it brings up a list of food. I scroll through until I find something that I both like and fits in my calories. If it isn't a chain, I may look up one that is a chain and is similar.

    I also count on taking half home most of the time.
