I love Kraft Mac and Cheese. It is probably the main culprit as to why I am the weight I am.
I make it for my son, but use the lower calorie and fat directions. It uses 1/4 cup of skim milk and 2 tsp of butter. It brings down the calorie count to 290 for a full cup.
This way if I do want to have a little taste, I don't feel as guilty.0 -
i just pulled a box of it out of the cupboard and it says it is only 240 cal per serving, 2 grams of fat7 grams of protein
Check to see if those stats are "as packaged", rather than "prepared". I HATE when they do that. You have to add in the calories from the butter and milk to get the actual nutrition (or lack thereof).:explode:0 -
I have never liked boxed macaroni with powdered cheese................YUCK!!!!
I do eat butter though. It is listed as one of the 150 healthiest foods..............0
