I love cuties but when they go out of season i'm gonna be sad but i was wondering if you could freeze them and if they would still taste just as good as they do fresh:huh:

anybody know?

I love frozen grapes! They make a great snack. Some fruits freeze well, others not so much. Depends on what you want to use them for and you will never be able to thaw them and have them be like fresh...the texture will completely change.

i do love frozen grapes! they are my fave snack in the summer!
  • i wouldn't freeze a citrus based fruit. they will not defrost well, you can try one as an experiment just to check but i'd go with no.

Freezing changes the texture of most fruit (because of the high water content). I've never tried freezing anything citrus, but they do have frozen OJ concentrate.

The most "successful" frozen fruits: berries, some melons (not water melon) banana are Ok - good for baking & blending anyway.

Cuties are my favorite!! Saw pinterest post about freezing grapes and putting them in wine to keep it cool - I'm going to try that next time I treat myself to a glass of wine.

    I don't recommend freezing them.

Then again, I don't like any frozen fruit or canned.............both are just YUCK.

    Give me fresh.

I can't wait for Cherries and berries to get in season..............I have been dying for cherries, strawberries and blackberries. Not too much longer to go and the season will be in!!

    Wild blackberries are the BEST!!
