Notifications?

I've been wondering if it's something I just missed, but can you get some kind of notifications on when people comment on your updates, reply to one of your comments and so on? I was thinking something like facebook notifications. I do get it on my phone but they aren't very specific, and I haven't found anything like it on the website.

From the My Home tab select Settings and then use the "Change email address/email preferences" to update the notifications you want.
