Hello all , Just curious if any of you happen to know how many calories one burns doing the Biggest loser calorie knockout video , I did the warm up and Circut one of three?? Thanks...

  • Calories burned will vary depending on body weight & intensity. But I did the Calorie knockout DVD, warm-up, circuit one, & cool down (23 mins) & burned 154 calories according to my heart rate monitor.
  • Thank you!! What sort of heart rate monitor do you have? I do exercises sometimes that are not listed on here and have no clue how as to how many calories I burn!

I was just looking online for the same answer....I just received the DVD today.
  • I have a Polar monitor, not sure without looking at it which model it is. & I am sitting in my bed and it is in the other room, but I got it at sears. At the time, they had 3. One very basic, one a little in the middle as far as features offered & one that did a lot more, but cost a lot more. After some debate I went with the middle one. I would love a bodybug or fitbit, by they are not really in my budget. But since I do most of my walking outside it was my only real way of trying to measure calories. burned,
  • Can any of you with a heart rate manitor tell me how many calories id born doing warm up, circuit 3 and warm down?? Pleas and thank you :)
  • I did Warm up Circuit 1, 2,and 3 and the cooldown...xD anyone know how much I lost?

Asking someone else how many calories you would burn doing a certain task isn't very accurate. Everyone is different. Even at the same weight, two people could easily burn hugely different numbers of calories doing the same thing for various reasons - age, fitness level, intensity, etc. It can at least give you someone of an estimate, sure, but in the end, monitoring it on yourself is the only way you'll *really* know.

purchase a HRM...very important if you actually want to accurately track calories burned!

I have a Polar FT4 and love it...
