I love Costco. My father won't take me to Costco anymore because I need to break a habit or something ;)

They have great deals on quinoa, peanut butter, veggie burgers, bulk meats (if you're into that thing), dried fruits, etc.

We have sams club here. Ole xtreme wellness tortilla wraps have 68calories, 0 sugar, and 12grams of fiber (half of your daily goal). Add some refried beans and fat free cheddar, chobani plain greek yogurt, and picante sauce for a delicious filling meal.

I used to buy the chobani fruit yogurts until i realized they had 19grams of sugar each. good luck
  • Ok so something my mom recently bought for us at home that i really love are the orowheat sandwich thins. its sandwich bread but way thinner and its 100 calories per bun thing. you can make some tuna salad and eat it in a sandwich. my favorite thing to make though is a ham, egg, cheese, lettuce, tomato sandwich:d! its delicious and you can make it for lunch or breakfast and its also pretty healthy. you just fry and egg(egg white and use grape seed oil) with a little salt. then you get a slice of ham and put it in the same pan after you fry your egg. you don't need extra oil. once it starts browning on both sides put a slice of cheese( not so healthy but you can leave it out) on the ham and fold it so it'll melt. then you toast you sandwich thins and put the egg ham and chesse on it (no mayo) and some lettuce and tomato and there you go:)

Raw spinach from their produce department makes a great salad. I have a friend who mixes in cranberries, walnuts, tomatoes, bacon bits, ranch dressing, hard boiled egg, peppers, and shredded cheese. It's also good without the bacon bits and with a lighter dressing. All of the above can be bought at Costco though (it's where she shops), though you'll have to boil the eggs yourself.

I load up on fruits and veggies there. In addition I get better oats they are really good you wont regret buying them. They have an amazing 2 pack of salsa verde medium, yummo, I eat it on everything lol. Get some fage 0% and make yourself smoothies, dips for veggies, and sauces for food. We always buy the 10lb bag of chicken other meats I have found cheaper else where. Their Cara Cara oranges are unbelievably good! We also like their frozen tilapia better than other places.

I love their fresh veggies! I get portabella mushrooms, celery, broccoli, steak, tilapia, salmon, pistachios, almonds, eggs, and bread. It usually lasts me around two to three weeks.

Ground turkey...you can get four 1 lb packages for around $15....and a bag of frozen boneless skinless chicken breasts for $20 I think it is about 10 lbs. Fresh fruit, spinach, bell peppers, cottage cheese, we also get the 4 dozen eggs....last you a while and with that you can make regular eggs, omlettes, fritatas. Depending on the market price it is about 6 or7 dollars. Those are some of the staple things I get to make meals. Someone else mentioned sandwich thins...also a good idea.

Spinach, cottage cheese, blueberries, greek yogurt, kirklands eggbeaters, quinoa, sabatino chicken burgers, AmyLu chicken sausages, bagel thins, the packs of lentils (super good with some tortilla chips), bananas.

The Skotidakis Jalapeno Greek Yogurt Dip and Golden Grill Russet Hashbrown Potatoes are really good.
Also the Bellavitano Sartori Merlot cheese is the best ever, but I only eat if I need the fat & protein for the day and I weigh it so I do not take more than one serving. I usually have it with 3 of those pretzel crackers sold at Costco.
