NEW GOAL-RUN A 5k!

So I have officially made a fitness goal to try to run a 5K. When I mean run, I mean run the whole thing. I am not a long distance runner at all. I am a sprinter and I tend to whine about anything long distance! Don't judge, just being honest here! I am signing up for a 5k in June. I am a beginner and I haven't done any running in a long time. Any advice any runners can give me would be greatly appreciated. I have printed off a schedule and plan to start today. Anyone else make a new fitness goal for themselves that they have never done before?
