I've joined the gym, I'm trying to eat better, but I work wonky schedules, that sometimes start early, sometimes start late, and I can't create a proper routine for eating! Plus, I walk/take the bus to work, so just driving to grab something to eat at home on lunch doesn't work...

what do you recommend is lightweight yet filling and healthy to eat at work?
How would you reccomend I schedule meal times(we don't have steady breaktimes/lunch times at work either! yipee!) We have a fridge, and microwave, and a kettle, that's all though.
I'm tired of bringing carrots/broccoli/cuccumber/ etc and munching on them, I need something else, and more filling!

I love wraps. I made some with low carb tortillas (80 calories) and some pico de gallo and very little sliced turkey breast with some lettuce MMMMmmmmmmmm it was good and so few calories you can afford to have 2:smile:

I've got the same situation at work. I purchased a little cooler thing, its like a lunch bag, but it will keep things cold if I put in an ice pack. I put stuff in it like lean meat, cheese (not much cheese  apples, peanut butter, hummus, etc. I also keep a few of those campbells To Go, or Soup in your Hand, or what ever they are called that you warm up and drink from the same container? That way, if the lunch I planned (I take stuff I've prepared ahead that I can warm up in the microwave) doesn't work out, or if I didn't get a chance to put a lunch together, I have my soup to fall back on.

I am right there with you! I love hard boiled eggs--one is only 70 calories and they are packed with good nutrition, especially protein. Also, if you do like salads, i found a container that holds the dressing seperate and there is a tab to suck out any air to keep the veggies/lettuce fresh. I love to then pour on the dressing, cover and shake, add some slices of hard boiled egg and I'm good to go! Also, if you drive around a lot and are ever tempted to stop and grab some food--like I do--it helps to have trail mix. I make my own with whole wheat cereals, dried cranberries/cherries, cashews, and use this to fill my craving.
