I'm glad I found this website. I've peeked around similar sites, although this is the best I've seen. The food database seems second-to-none here.
Well, I started my weight loss excursion on Dec. 1, 2011. At the time, I weighed ~240. Today 218. I've slacked for a week at a time here and there between then and now, I'm vowing to not do that anymore. Too much hard work just to let it go to waste on lazy weeks and 6000+ calorie days. (I'm sure most of you know that's much easier to do than it seems.)
Besides treadmill, I also, within the past 2 weeks, started a minimal bit of strength training (sit-ups, push-ups, and some curls and upper body dumbbell exercises every 2 days.)
I doubt I will be a source of info here, as I am a relative beginner at this, but I think I will enjoy it here in what downtime I have; in the community reading stories and tips, and keeping track of my progress in the diary.

well, as you are infinitely prolonged, you have lots of time to work on the weight loss. Good luck on your journey. Add me if you want somebody to understand your HGTTG references.0 -
Haha! Usually no one gets it. Once I get down to ~190, I can resume my work of going around the universe insulting everyone... in alphabetical order.0

Well, it's been 2+ weeks of logging on everyday, so I guess I'll be a fixture here... while RJT has been good inspiration, I need more!
So... BUMP!0
