Crock Pot Pasole (Yummy)

Made this pasole today, put ingedients in recipe builder. Wife & I loved it


Onions - Raw, 1 cup, chopped 67 16 0 1
Carrots - Raw, 1 cup, chopped 52 12 0 1
Celery - Raw, 1 cup chopped 14 3 0 1
Garlic - Raw - 1 Clove (1 Tsp, 3g), 12 clove 48 12 0 2
Embasa - Chipotle Peppers In Adobo Sauce, 4 Tbsp 30 4 1 0
Water - Municipal, 12 cup (8 fl oz) 0 0 0 0
Teasdale - White Hominy, 1 1/2 cup 240 48 3 9
Ham - Boneless Smoked Ham, 24 ounces 720 12 30 120
Welch's Butcher Meats - Smoked Ham Hock, 18 oz. 600 0 20 144
Add Ingredient

Total: 1771 107 54 278
Per Serving: 136 8 4 21


Water - Municipal, 12 cups (3 quarts)
Butcher Meats - Smoked Ham Hock, 18 oz.
Ham - Boneless Smoked Ham, 24 ounces
Teasdale - White Hominy, 1 1/2 cup
Embasa - Chipotle Peppers In Adobo Sauce, 4 Tbsp (use only 2 peppers)
Garlic - Raw - 1 Clove (1 Tsp, 3g), 12 clove
Celery - Raw, 1 cup chopped
Carrots - Raw, 1 cup, chopped
Onions - Raw, 1 cup, chopped



Directions
Place all ingredients in crock pot
cook (I cooked 7 hours apx 4 on high)
remove chiptole peppers
remove ham hocks (cut meat & add to soup if desired)
I pulled the fat oil off the top of the soup (makes for a cleaner broth)


You could probably top with Cilantro, Cabbage or whatever. This needed no salt or pepper to us
