Hi everyone,

I am a long time, off and on Weight Watchers member who is more than likely cancelling her membership and switching over to MFP. My friend turned me on to this site a while back but I never really explored it until now, and I love how easy it is to use, the social networking aspect, and the message boards. I am really excited to get started.

I am leaving WW because I feel I'm not getting what I want out of it for $40/month. I have a lot of problems staying motivated and didn't feel like the meetings were helping as much as they should. I'm hoping these forums can replace that somehow.

If you have any motivational tips, I would love to hear them! Also, if you're a former WW, I would love to hear your comparisons of using this site vs. WW!

Thanks!

    Hi,

I am an almost former WW member. I haven't cancelled my membership yet, but have been doing it for quite a while and it hasn't been working. I am fairly new to MFP and have lost 3.8 pounds. Been struggling a little bit, but finding this website very helpful.

It's really motivating to me to have people comment daily - great motivation for me. The more friends the better.

I will send you a friend request.
