I am not a member of any military family. One of my best friends husband just finished his special forces training and they leave for their new home in less than a month (across seas). All I can say is to all of you is THANK YOU! The job you all signed up for the work that the family members do to keep things together while their loved one is deployed and for the military member you keep us safe and for that THANK YOU!0

Not quite, but my brother served in the US Marine Corps for 13 years, 2 tours in the mid-East (1 in Kuwait, 1 in Iraq). My step-dad was Army Reserve and was called up for the 1st Gulf War.

My guy is training at the moment to be a Royal Marine so once he passes and pops the question I'll be a Royal Marines wife and I cannot wait!!!!!!0
