with a BMR of 1470, and HARD workouts 6x a week, MFP forums and the TDEE equation, i was advised to eat my BMR plus some, if not all of my exercise cals to lose weight. i was eating in the 1700s on most days, and the scale didnt budge for over 3 weeks...

in talking with my dietician again and explaining the situation, she said because hard workouts are the norm for me, my body is likely regulated to expect it, and my body doesnt need all of those extra cals to lose, but rather to maintain. it sucks, but i lowered my calorie intake to the 1450-1550 range, and its already reflecting a change- FINALLY. i know as long as I eat my BMR im being healthy- and it sucks to have to decrease my calorie intake, but im willing to do whatever works, i figure it will only be hard for a few weeks until my body is used to it.

8 lbs down since Dec 7th, 22 lbs to go (slow loss, but that was also during the holidays, so im just happy its a loss). im hoping to lose 7-10 lbs by my friends wedding on March 31- i havent seen my friends from back home in NY since December- i want that amazing feeling of hearing "wow! you lost a lot of weight since i last saw you!!" :)
