Frustrated! Seeking Advice

I have been working our very hard this week (about 1 1/2 hrs a day). This includes Jillian Michaels' 30-day shred, along with the treadmill or track, the bike or elliptical. In addition, I do extra abs and sometimes upper body.
I am staying within my calories and not eating all of my exercise calories, but I am not losing weight. I have also measured myself because I know that muscle weighs more than fat, but haven't lost much in inches either.
My diary is open.
Any suggestions?
Thanks

Give it time. When I first jumped into my diet/exercise program and tracking it here at MFP, it took me 2-3 weeks to lose 1#. I was also all "WTF?" but I felt better exercising and eating healthier food so I just kept it up. The weight and inches are now coming off nicely.
If you haven't done so, I suggest reading all the stickies at the top of this forum. There's a wealth of great information in there. It's possible you might find things things there that you need to tweak. Or you might find that you're doing things just right and really just need to be more patient. Slow loss is better for you anyway as it helps to retain your muscles. Also, when first working out or when changing up your exercise program, your body tends to retain water in the muscles to help them heal which can mask fat loss for awhile.0 -
Actually your diary isn't open hun.0

True. I do feel much better and my endurance is definitely changing. Maybe it will sneak up and surprise me when I least expect it! Thanks for the motivation.0 -
Starting any exercise program will usually cause water retention from recovery and glycogen storage. It usually lasts a couple of weeks or so till your body gets used to exercise.

This. Your body needs time to adjust. Your diary looks pretty good. You'll need calories to maintain your energy for those intense workouts, so don't be afraid to keep eating. Ignore your scales for a couple weeks... They will catch up! Good luck!0 -
Thank you all! I guess I tend to get a little impatient sometimes, especially when I am so motivated. I know everything happens in time so I will wait a while.
Thanks again and have a great day!0
