I will have a 'spike' day once every couple of weeks. I don't literally plan to do it - but sometimes I want to go out for a nice meal with friends so I won't worry too much...and then when TOM comes along I KNOWWW I will have a bad day (see yesturday!)

I give myself 1 day a week to eat what I want without logging calories. I've lost 9.2 pounds so far, and find it's helpful for a couple of reasons:
1. I get the opportunity to socialize and go out for meals with friends without fussing over where we go or what I will eat.
2. I satisfy cravings that make it really easy for me to stick with my plan the other 6 days a week.
Important stuff, though:
It's not a binge day! I don't let myself get to that stuffed, miserable feeling.
I plan a more intense/longer workout the next day and use the extra calories as fuel.0
