I bought these jeans last winter. They fit JUST FINE. Then I started running in April 2011 and my butt got bigger from running (same weight, same waist size, bigger butt). SO when I went to wear these jeans this winter, I couldn't get them buttoned. :(

Here is from January 20th to TODAY!! Down 5.6 pounds, 1.5 inches in the waist and 1.75 inches in the hips.

You now have, what we call, Runner's *kitten*! You run and build up the muscles in your butt, and it because nice and tight, and bigger, and then your pants don't fit... I can't get pants that fit my *kitten* and my waist at the same time....

Good job! That is an accomplishment in my book!

quite possibly. I have several friends who've said the same thing. I was just glad to know I wasn't the only one whose butt got bigger. It's amazing how much you use your butt muscles to run!

Actually, if you've never read it, you should check out "Born to Run." Excellent motivational book. BUT, it also helped explain my butt getting bigger. He compared us to kangaroos. Kangaroos have tails that help to stabilize them so they don't fall flat on their faces when they run. Since we don't have tails, human butts work in the same way...pull us backward to keep from falling on our faces. LOL so, as we run, we use the muscles in the butt more, which in turn bulks them up. ;)
