A hard boiled egg and two slices of turkey bacon. The turkey bacon takes about a minute and a half in the microwave - which I cook while I pour my coffee into my travel mug. Then I wrap the bacon in paper towel and throw it in my purse with my egg (I cook a bunch on Sundays and just keep them in the fridge for the week). In the car I eat the bacon and then use the paper towel to hold the eggshell when I peel that to eat!0

I honestly just eat leftovers for breakfast... it's fast, easy, and hopefully healthy!0

Make mini quiches. Add eggs, milk, a variety of veggies, pre-cooked meats and cheese and then pour into muffin tins. Bake until firm (about 20 mins). Let them cool and then pack for the week.0

Fage Greek yogurt with a tablespoon honey with 3 medium strawberries sliced or a fruit you like. Love it!0

I get tired of oatmeal too. Lately I've been eating Lean Pockets, the breakfast ones. They keep me good almost to lunch time, then I have a piece of fruit when I get hungry, then at lunchtime I'm not starving.0

Search the MFP message boards for mug bread. There is a great recipe that you put all in a mug and throw in the microwave. Yum.
Also, you can make protein muffins ahead of time (a dozen or half a dozen) and freeze. Take it out as you're ready to leave and throw it in the microwave to soften. Yum.
You can also make a quiche ahead and cut into single servings and have a slice of that for the next 8 days! Very Yum!0 -
I have either an egg or almond butter on ezekiel toast and eat it in the car. Sometimes add a banana or orange.0

If you want some meat try this breakfast sausage patty! With 72 calories per patty you can put it between toast.
This makes 4 patties:
1/2 pound extra-lean ground pork or pork tenderloin, ground
1 tablespoon minced red onion
1 1/2 teaspoons minced garlic
1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
1/4 teaspoon ground sage
1/4 teaspoon cayenne
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
1/8 teaspoon salt
In a medium mixing bowl, combine the pork, onion, garlic, thyme, sage, cayenne, black pepper, and salt. With clean hands or a fork, mix well. Divide the mixture into 4 equal parts. Shape each into a ball. On a sheet of waxed paper, flatten one ball into a 4 inch-diameter patty. Repeat with the remaining balls. Place any patties that won’t immediately be cooked in a single layer or stacked between sheets of waxed paper in an airtight plastic container. Refrigerate for up to 3 days or freeze for up to 1 month.
To cook, select a skillet that’s the appropriate size to hold the patty or patties to be cooked in a single layer. Set the skillet over medium-high heat until it is hot enough for a spritz of water to sizzle on it. With an oven mitt, briefly remove the pan from the heat to mist with olive oil spray. Set the patty or patties in the pan. Cook for 1 to 2 minutes per side, or until just starting to brown and no longer pink inside. Serve your breakfast sausage immediately.

I will sometimes cut up an apple and put it in a baggie. It's great to go and lasts longer (seems like) than biting into an apple until it's gone. I'm not an oatmeal fan, either. Thought it was the oatmeal but I've tried it a dozen ways and it's just me--don't care for it.
Lots of times I just make one slice of toast with butter. That and coffee and I'm on the road.0 -
Kraft has some "milk and granola bars" in different flavors....I love the peanut butter... 140 cal.....in dairy section0

I try to switch it up...I will do the flavored weight control oatmeal, yogurt and fruit, cereal and milk, one egg 2 slices low calorie toast and salsa or Mayo, nutragrain eggo waffle with sugar free syrup or yogurt.0

I love slicing a banana in half and spreading all natural peanut butter down the middle. It's really delicious and filling.0

Fried egg whites are great. Or your fav bran cereal. I eat Raisin Bran some mornings.0

Luna Protein bars!! I love the cookie dough flavor, and it's only 170 calories per a bar. They are targeted for women, but I'm sure either gender can enjoy them Perhaps adding a piece of fruit such as a clementine, apple, or banana and a cup of tea would definitely fill you up!!0

I hate trying to come up with breakfast ideas. I am in no mood to prepare anything amazing.
I stick with yogurt mixed with cheerios. It's filling, it's good and it's not a budget buster.
I also like whole wheat toast with Whole Food Fresh Ground Honey Roasted Peanut Butter (OMG, it's delish!)
On the mornings that I'm actually willing to spend a few minutes, I'll toast a bagel and cook up some turkey sausage and eat them together.
Or another ideas is a piece of whole wheat toast with a couple of fried eggs or scrambled eggs.
Not sure about the calorie count on all of these, but those are generally my breakfasts.
Except for my cheat day when I have whole wheat, blueberry pancakes. I like to freeze those and then reheat them for a quick breakfast as well.0 -
I pack portions of 1/4 c blueberries and 1/4 c kasha crunch to add to my 70 calorie carton of Dannon yogurt. I layer it I to a bowl and it makes a satisfying breakfast for under 150 calories. I also keep some Shaklee Cinch powder on hand for mornings that I forget to pack food, only I increase the milk to 14 oz. and use one scoop (instead of 2)- can't remember how many calories, but under 250.0

I do peanut butter and banana on whole wheat bread- smoothies ( just bought vega whole food- but have used pure pumkin seed protein and whey protein, and also made without added proteing ) always use chia with them, sometiems GNC maximum fruits powder - eggs on toast- oatmeal with fruit..
You can make eggs in the microwave easy- you can even buy those egg creations- i think 1/4 cup is equal to an egg, and like 70ish calories- come in flavors, can microwave in a bowl and have on toast??? good luck0 -
Try plain greek yogurt with some blueberries or some other fruit and then I put some stevia in it too! It's good and has lots of protein!0

I did not read the entire thread . sorry if duplicated.
Breakfast burritos
10 medium wraps
10 eggs slightly beaten
1/8 cup of milk or cream
1 cup shredded cheese
1/2 cup chopped ham, sausage, or bacon (cooked)
1 TBSP butter
1/4 - 1/2 cup chopped bell pepper
1/4 - 1/2 cup chopped onion
salt and pepper to taste
Saute onion and bell pepper in butter. Add milk and salt and pepper to eggs .Pour in pan. Cook until done. Remove from heat. Add cheese and meat. Divide mixture onto 10 wraps. Wrap each burrito with a paper towel then aluminum foil. Place in freezer baggie. Freeze up to 3 months.
* To reheat remove foil and place in microwave for 30 second intervals.

Of course, that depends on the burrito wraps you use. If you use the whole wheat low carb the less carbs and calories it will have.0
