Type of shoes: Nike Women's Air Alvord 9 Trail
I finally built up enough endurance to finally be able to jog a bit today! However, my ankles are screaming and feel really tight. This used to happen when I was walking but not to this degree! Why do my ankles hurt so much?

The first day I tried running my feet/ankles/legs/everything screamed out in pain. Your body is not used to being pushed like that, but the good news is it will only get better with time. By continuing to jog your body will get stronger and you will lose those extra pounds which result in your feet/ankles having to carry a lighter load. I found that I was in less and less pain even by day three so keep your head up and push forward it will be worth it!0
