Anyone currently own one? I'm looking for opinions, both good and bad, as to whether this scale is worth the purchase.

Seems gimicky to me. Didn't look at the whole description, but can it give a cumulative number? If not, you'd certainly not want to be using it with any frequency I would think.

I don't understand why people are so concerned with the scale....like, literally, not figuratively. The point is to lose weight, not get the most accurate reading of your current weight as possible. (Now, if I was trying to bungie jump and needed to know my EXACT weight at any given moment, my gravitational pull on the earth, I might be more concerned with the "accuracy" of my scale.) Buy the cheapest scale you can find that gives you a consistent number when you stand on it five times in a row and your good to go. Save your money for equipment that is actually going to affect your weight loss somehow...buy some dumbells....or a bosu ball (I adore my bosu ball)... I don't know, maybe you are rich and have unlimited funds to spend on a scale and its not an either/or situation for you, but since you are asking if its "worth it"...I'm gonna go with no, definitely not.

I was just curious since I found a groupon for it! Its on sale for about the same price as any other scales I've seen and tried out ($29). So I bought it! :) I'm thinking its exactly what i need just something for the home to weigh myself more frequent then i have been able to lately.

Oh...lol. I'm dumb. My scale was like 50 dollars. So, good for you! ^_^
