Daily vs weekly net

I have been low on my calories almost every day since I started Mfp. Today was the first day I didn't exercise, besides shoveling our walkway and walking to the store and back. I'm wondering if I should try to eat more today, say 1500 instead of 1200 (still a deficit of 600 or so)? Please let me know your thoughts!

    i always use sunday as my "make up" day - to eat any calories from the week that i didnt eat, be it exercise calories or normal. i dont worry to much about day to day net, as long as my weekly is perfect. that usually means going into the red on sunday, and im ok with that
  • eat when your hungry dont when your not............eventually you may reach a point where you have to eat more for your exercise or weight loss goals but this is what I stick by and some days I am under and other over......

    I've heard it both ways.

    My take is either is fine in the long run as long as you pick one and stick to it.
