Daily vs weekly net

I have been low on my calories almost every day since I started Mfp. Today was the first day I didn't exercise, besides shoveling our walkway and walking to the store and back. I'm wondering if I should try to eat more today, say 1500 instead of 1200 (still a deficit of 600 or so)? Please let me know your thoughts!

i always use sunday as my "make up" day - to eat any calories from the week that i didnt eat, be it exercise calories or normal. i dont worry to much about day to day net, as long as my weekly is perfect. that usually means going into the red on sunday, and im ok with that0

eat when your hungry dont when your not............eventually you may reach a point where you have to eat more for your exercise or weight loss goals but this is what I stick by and some days I am under and other over......0

I've heard it both ways.
My take is either is fine in the long run as long as you pick one and stick to it.0
