i'm 150, and mine is set to 1260.0

1270, sedentary, but then I use my HRM and eat back the exercise calories so usually I end up eating 1600 - 1700 I think...0

Most women 5'6" working out 3-5 times a week should be between 1800-2300 daily.
Doesn't this vary greatly by weight?0 -
I'm 5"7 and mine is 1200.. It literally hurts me to eat anymore than even that. I can barely make it in the 1,000's sometimes. anyone wanna help me?0

mine is set to 17700

when i joined and added my goal weight, it set my calories at 1200 daily. Starting weight 197lbs.0

I increased my net calories from 1,200 (1lb loss/wk) to 1,400 (0.7lb loss/wk) because I was perpetually hungry on 1,200 - especially on non-workout days. It also seems to have given my metabolism a boost as the numbers on the scale have started moving again... I work out 5 days a week but not for very long, which translates into an extra 250 calories (give or take), and I eat those calories back.

MFP set mine to 1200, but I feel best if I eat around 1700-1800cal/day. I also run/cross train 3-4x/wk, so the net is usually around 1200-1300cal/day. I'm 5'6, 168. I recently gained due to thyroid problems, but fighting to lose it again!0

I feel your pain. I'm 5'6 191 as of today and it took me a long time to get used to eating anything above a 1000. I was normally stuffed at a 1000. I'm just now trained my self to get withing the 1200 range after exercising because I feel like I'm just stuffing myself full. But it's working. I started taking a multivitamin and eating what mfp says I should eat and of course taking my victoza and I dropped 4 lbs since Thursday. If I knew I could manage to eat what I need to in cal I would up it but afraid I wont be able to eat that amount of calories without a really bad tummy ache0 -
1200 - Im 5'6 and 133.5. I workout about 5 times a week. I eat about half my calories back. On days I don't exercise and I don't get extra calories I struggle to stay under goal. Im happy eating between 1400-16000

Mine is at 1670 and set to sedentary. I'm a bigger girl though so I assume that is partially why it's so high. I did just drop though so that was a nice thing to see. Means I'm doing something right!0

I'm at maintenance at 133 and mine was at 1700 till today but since I still lost weight the last two weeks I'm upping to 1900 on non workout days to trial that out
my macros are set at 40/30/30 too0 -
I started off at 163 lbs. and I have my calories set at 1460 and I've lost 13 lbs. so far. I try to include some sort of exercise daily. Even if it's just walking for an hour, which can be done easily at your local mall. I also keep an eye on my sodium intake. Hope this helps!0

My calories are set to 1590. They were 1350, but it wasn't really working. I wasn't really losing. It's been one week since I upped my calories, and it seems better. I exercise at least 4x/wk.0

I'm like 5'6 1/2'' and 259. Mine is set to 1480.
Edit* I do 4-5 hours of cardio and 4-6 hours of weights and strength training every week.0 -
I put mine up from 1200 to 1460, but I'm no longer logging/eating exercise calories0

I just hate to say that I love your main picture. It made me giggle.0 -
I'm currently 146 lbs, and I eat 1500 a day with light exercise 2x a week.0

I have mine manually set at 1600 as a base and exercise. I eat my exercise back if I'm hungry if not then I don't.
Take your goal wt and "x" that by 10 then add 200 if you live a sedentary lifestyle or 400 if your really active (lifestyle does not include exercise)
I took mfp advice and had my calories at 1200 and I was starving! I'm def. ALOT happier at 1600! Best of luck!0 -
I'm 5'6" and 157 pounds.
1,520 Calories based on a lightly active lifestyle, working out 5x per week for 25 mins.0
