I just made these from a recipe that I've had for awhile. They're pretty good, considering I didn't use the traditional powdered sugar frosting, OR the sticky nut topping.
DOUGH:
King Arthur Flour - Stone Ground Whole Wheat Flour, 2 cup- 800 calories
Wheat flour - White, all-purpose, enriched, unbleached, 6 cup- 2730 Calories
Generic - Egg - Whole, Raw, Fresh, 2 large- 120 calories
Generic - Sugar White Granulated, by Cup, 0.6 cup (2/3 cup)- 464 calories
Butter - Salted, 1 stick- 810 calories (softened)
Plain Mashed Potatoes 1/2 Cup - Nothing Added , 1 cup cooked and mashed- 134 calories (warmed up a bit)
Yeast - Baker's, active dry, 1 tbsp- 35 calories
1&1/2 cup warm water
FILLING:
Sugars - Brown, 1 cup, packed packed- 829 calories
Spices - Cinnamon, ground, 3 tbsp- 53 calories
Great Value - Light Cream Cheese, 1 container (16 tbsp ea.)- 480 calories (room temp)
TOPPING:
Generic White Granulated Sugar - 2 Tbs- 92 calories
Spices - Cinnamon, ground 1 tbsp- 18 calories
For the dough:
In a smaller bowl, pour the water and add the yeast with 1TB of the dough sugar. Give it a stir and let sit. In a large mixing bowl(or whatever you use to make yeast breads), add the flour, the rest of the sugar, the potatoes, butter and salt. Using the dough hook, slowly add the yeast mixture and the eggs. Mix until the dough is smooth. Add more flour if necessary. The dough will be soft, but should not be sticky. Put the dough in a greased bowl, cover with saran wrap and put in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours. You have to put it in the fridge.
After 4 hours, can be up to 24 hours, take the dough and let sit about 1/2 hour at room temperature, until it's workable.
In a smaller work bowl, blend the cream cheese, brown sugar and cinnamon until smooth.
Divide the dough in half, and roll out into a rectangle. Spread 1/2 of the cream cheese mixture over the dough* and roll up jelly roll style. Cut into 25 rolls, and place in a greased pan(s). Do the same with the other half of the dough. Sprinkle with the cinnamon-sugar topping. Bake at 350 about 20 minutes, until golden brown. Remove from pan and let cool. Makes 50 rolls.
Enjoy and don't forget to log the calories!!!
*The cream cheese mixture with be very soft, and when you cut the rolls, it may ooze out. It won't matter. Just try to cut the dough gently, using the sharpest knife you have.

It makes 50 rolls. There are 7 of us here, so it's not all that much. I usually make 1/2 recipe at a time.0
