1 pound hamburger
1 package sliced mushrooms
1/2 green pepper, diced
16-20 sliced baby carrots
1 family sized can of diced tomatoes
1 large v8
1/2 package elbow noodles or egg noodles
cook the hamburger, mushrooms, pepper and carrots until done. break up the hamburger as it cooks. you can season with salt and pepper if desired (also onion or garlic is fine). pour mixture into a stockpot and add can of tomatoes including liquid. add v8 and noodles. stir and make sure all the noodles are covered with liquid. place a lid on pot and cook on high heat for 10 minutes, stirring periodically. it can also sit on low heat for an hour or more if needed.
it is a soupier mixture, great for dipping bread. according to my kids, it tastes like homemade spaghettio's, "only, yanno, better".
