at the end of july I'll be at 2 years with mine. They are going alright, my only issue is that a. my cat's fur is constantly inbedding themselves into my hair (and I can never get it out) and I can't really get the hang of washing them in a way where they will lose that dull look, my hairdresser however can wash them so well my hair actually looks black. i just have to keep practicing.

Oh yes! Love my dreads. Have been growing them for almost three years.
My son's father is Caucasian and he also has dreads. I hate doing his hair..lol..It just takes forever
Any tips on stray hair? That is his biggest problem

I used to have dreads, just braids now though. When I lost a lot of weight my hair got weak and fell out. Same thing happened when I had kids. It sucks!

i have natural twist and rip dreads so i dont do anything except seperate. you can carefully hook and pull in stray hair with a crochet needle, but it can damage the hair causing more loose hair in the long run. it takes a long time but with white hair its better to let it matt up naturally.:)

check out dreadlockssite.com for all things natural dreads.

One of my good girlfriends had beautiful dreads, I was and am terribly jealous as I've always wanted them but my fiancé does not like them.
