College Students Anywhere?

Hey to all you college students trying to be healthy and fit! How do you do? How do you balance exercise into your daily life, and how do you eat healthy daily? Please share!!
Me: I prefer to work out in the morning and "get it out of the way". It makes me more awake during the day, and sleep better at night so I can wake up and do it all over again!
The eating healthy thing? I know how, I can actually afford it this semester, but I am very stressed as of now, and always on the go at the studio or to class so it gets hard to balance things. Usually I will eat eggs/toast for breakfast and bring a yogurt/ "meal" luna bar for snack/lunch. I'm getting sick of eating the same things though!! I also don't vary my dinner much either... IDEAS??

College student here!
My routine seems the same as yours. I usually work out in the early morning, unless I have I work that morning. Or, I'll head straight to the gym after class. I keep a work out schedule for each day of the month so I won't have any excuses.
I also cook in bulk. If I'm making a pasta sauce, I make enough for maybe 6 servings and freeze the rest in single-serving containers. It's like a microwave meal... but home made! I also LOVE Luna bars with yogurt as a midday snack... can't get tired of it, haha!0 -
Yeah. I walk to school in the mornings which is about 2 miles and I walk home after class. I work out as soon as I get home then hop in the shower before settling in to do homework until bed time. I eat eggs and turkey sausage every morning. Usually bring apples and almond butter for "lunch" (I don't do lunch), then have a protein shake after my workout. I love too cook, so I always eat a bomb dinner of some kind and I cook it fresh as a part of my wind down routine every night. Shopping at costco and trader joes has made it easy to afford the things I eat regularly. I really don't have very much variety in my diet tho so I'm probably not the one to ask for ideas.0

Calorie Counting, Atkin's diet, the zone diet, the south beach diet.... they are all tough with the stress of college-- especially if you use tobacco for the stress, because then you need fat to store the toxins that come with smoking or dipping so you get super hungry.
I found that by quitting dipping I can maintain a 1200 calorie diet (with nicotine replacements).
Also a food processor helps.0 -
thanks guys
Luckily, i don't smoke (or drink often) so no worries there.
I like cooking dinner in the evenings but i usually just have pasta with veggies on it- i know how to cook, but i don't know WHAT to cook. Sometimes it gets tough because i might be in the studio from 12pm-8 or 9pm and i eat small snacks (like the luna bars) but then i get back late often...0
