New to the forum...

Hi, I have been using MFP everyday for a couple of months, but I have only just starting posting to the forum. MFP is a great tool and really keeps me on track.
Since my mid forties my weight crept up and up, I was shocked when I saw photos of myself. Because of my age I was worried I would not be able to shift the weight as when I was younger with a few small changes the weight would fall off! Anyway, I did plenty of research on healthy diet and exercise (I found bodybuilding.com really useful) I started strength training and eating a clean diet and I have lost about 21 pounds altogether ( a guess as I didn't have any scales), 11 pounds since using MFP. Still a way to go to reach my goal of 130 ( I am 5 ft 4 inches).
I would appreciate friends for motivation and support :flowerforyou:

I have sent you a friend request as I can relate totally to what you are saying, although I think my weight gain started in my mid thirties. I am 5ft 3 inches and need to lose quite a bit and have broken this into two chunks so am initially looking to lose 40lbs. My diary is open to my friends so if you want to take a look that's fine by me.0
