My "complete this entry" weight has shot up to ten more lbs in one day and I am not doing anything different. I lost 6 lbs and now have gained 2lbs back and I am sticking to the calorie goals the app sets for me. I don't undersand how to continue to lose weight with this program. How can this be fixed?

Don't weigh yourself everyday would be where I would start.... I would drive myself insane weighing everyday. my weight can change up to 6-10 lbs. easily in a day depending on lots of factors especially the amount of water I drank the day before... I weigh in on the same day just once a week and log that weight.... This is a marathon not a sprint and you just have to stay the course and continue to do all you can to be successful everyday that is all you can do.... and the scale is not the only measure of success you can have.... Clothes fitting better, being more physically fit are just a few things that aren't reflective of what is on the scale....

If you open your dairy folks can see what exactly is going on. after a day you can change it back.

The "complete this entry" function just tells you that if you netted the EXACT same amount of calories as you did that day every day for the next five weeks, then mathematically you would be at a certain weight based on the calorie deficit you're creating.

    It means nothing.

Because, even if you ate exactly the same way for five weeks, you're not likely to have the exact same activity level every day for five weeks, and even if you did that, water weight fluctuations and other factors affect the amount of weight you actually lose.

If the weight it says you'll be at in five weeks has increased by ten pounds, I'm likely to believe that the lower weight it told you was because you were completing entries on extremely low calories. When you do that, the math happens to show ridiculous amounts of weight loss, but that doesn't mean it is sustainable.
