Why I love MFP vs other logging sites

I was using a different food logging site for like 5-6 years off and on. I could never figure out how to use it to its full extent, apparently. It never 'yelled' at me to eat more when I ate too little and I didn't have a phone app to take everywhere with me.

With the combination of my own determination, not being a doofus about eating too little/too much and the ease in which this app and website can be used... my weight has not once jumped around erratically like it used to.

The first year where it just goes down is from my highest weight to when I joined and where I was at then. All the jumping around came after. As you can see, the weight with MFP is steady and not too fast. :) I hope to keep this trend and I'm positive I will.

I used Fitday for YEARS - seriously almost a decade. There app SUCKS though. I never used the community. It was a pain to add a meal or a recipe. I got burned out and quit using it. Guess what I gained weight.

The only thing I wish MFP had that Fitday has is Fitday has MUCH better reports. The ones on MFP are a joke.

I also love the "news feed" style of MFP.

great job! And I love seeing the graphs for my own weighloss journey! Slow and steady wins the race.
