We just got a juicer and made this up. 1 grapefruit, 2 apples, 2 stalks celery, small piece of ginger, and some kale. It was really good and tart.

I got a juicer for my birthday a few months back. I still make at least 1 juice a day and love it. My fav recipes I've posted here if you're interested: http://www.rillsmenu.com/p/juice-recipes.html

I get up the gumption to try a new one every once in a while but I really like those ^

My favorite juice in the morning is

    2 stacks of celery
    2 hand fulls of spinach
    1 apple
    1/4 lemon
1 inch peice of ginger root

Wakes me up and I don't need coffee

I would head over to http://www.jointhereboot.com/

It's loaded with juice fasting tips and recipes.

Also, you might want to watch the movie Fat, Sick and Nearly Dead - All about juice fasting and such (good documentary)....

I've been juicing for 6 week now and will have 32 oz for breakfast, 32 oz for lunch and a normal light dinner.
I usually use lots of carrots, beets, apples, blueberries, oranges, grapes and as for greens, spinach and kale. Also the beets greens, are excellent for you. I mix usually 3 or 4 of the above and varying degrees.

Have you heard of the documentary "Fat, sick and nearly dead"? I have being doing a modified version of it for 6 weeks and lost 7 lbs. The guy who does it lost 82 lbs in 60 days and cured himself of an autoimmune disease that had him on 11 pills a day.

If you have netflix, you can stream the documentary. If not you can watch it for free on hulu.

You can also go to the site of the same name and they have a youtube channel with lots of info and recipes.

It is well work your time.
    Good luck!

I just saw the documentary and it has really inspired me! I do not have a traditional juicer, I have a Ninja KS1200 but it should work just fine. I will just have lots of pulp in my juice.
