Outdoorsy Junk

Hey everyone!
So this spring to break out from the gym I want to take up a hobby/fitness activity that lets me get some frsh air and peace with nature (I've got a few hippy tendencies in that way). Currently I am leaning towards kayaking, or possibly hiking. If you have experience in either of these I want to here what you think the pros/cons are! Or if you have any other outdoorsy ideas I would like to hear your input! The only thing I really have no interest in is running, I know its great for you and I hit up the local track sometimes to run a few laps..but in all honesty it's on my list of "Things Jess hates". Anyways, looking forward to hearing some ideas!

Depends on where you are, I love hiking personally but if there was better water around here I could see kayaking. I think whatever you enjoy enough that you do it often is the best thing :-)0

Remember rule #7- Look before you squat. You'll be fine.0

Bionic, you are very much right about locale. That's why I'm leaning towards kayaking since there is a lot more water in NJ than there are places to hike. I wouldnt mind taking some road trips to hike though.
Sl1ghtly, I will do my best to remember that :laugh:0
