Weekends are horrible for me. I eat unhealthy foods and drink lots of beer one night of every weekend. Any body else?

Any day off is a problem for me. Those days spent mostly at home can be disastrous. MFP's diary and knowing my friends will see it are things I feel very helpful. Although it is still a challenge, I find weekends more tolerable when I have a special Sunday dinner scheduled--I can look forward to a nice drink, a small meal or appetizer, and most definitely super dessert. Of course I cannot do this every Sunday, but I think that every two or three weeks is doable.
But I have to say that now that I am definitely motivated, it isn't such a struggle as it used to be. Also helps to have plenty of groceries in the house. You probably should not have any beer in your fridge. Make beer something you have only once on the weekend and only when out. And keep your eye on the target!0 -

I started my recent eating habits with the caveat of weekends are 'ok' for eating unhealthy; I would eat sugary things, and allow more carbs, fried foods, etc.
just remember, weekends don't mean anything different to your body; it still functions in the same ways as on weekdays.0 -
I am more likely to screw up if I go out to eat with friends. I try to eat a smaller meal to make up for the higher calories when I am out.0

I actually make my cheat day on Saturday. I go out with friends, drink a lot, eat some non good things...and the rest of the week work my *kitten* off. So far its working0

I guess what I will have to do is pick one day of the weekend and make that my cheat day. But, for me that usually starts Friday eve thru Sunday. UGGGGGGGGGGG0
