I just recently purchased a polar f4 heart rate monitor! I would love to know anyone's opinion if you have this device, and also if it is comparable to the calories burned as per the calculations on here! I am excited! I will try it tomorrow as I have been to the gym everyday this week but today...this is my chillax day :)

    I have the same HRM, I've had it for year's but I just found it and dusted it off after seeing all the HRM chatter around here. I ran 6 miles w it yesterday. Mfp said cals burned were 631 HRM said 611, so pretty close I think.

    I just got one for my bday last week and I've been able to use it twice. The first time it worked great, but the second time it kept losing my heart rate, so I didn't get an accurate count. I checked the strap and it seemed tight enough, so I'm not sure what the problem was. Hopefully it was just a fluke. Can't wait to try it out again.
