Losing weight and staying single.

I have this thing where I almost always want a boyfriend and I keep reminding myself that I really want to stay single during my weight loss to make it easier to focus on myself and make sure I get the workouts in. Is anyone else doing that too? I've consistently had a boyfriend for the last 3 years so it feels a little weird but I think in the end it will be for the best.

I'm doing just that! I know how it is having a bf and trying to lose weight. They think ur awesome and perfect and it makes u forget how you really feel about urself. Staying single is the best thing for me. I want to get down to a weight I will be happy at because my next relationship I want to lead to marriage. And I want to be perfect (my version of perfect) for him because I myself have high expectations for him and men naturally fall in love through their eyes first (and nothing is wrong with that) so yeah I wanna feel comfortable and be happy with myself before I can be comfortable and happy with someone else. Its only fair to him. :-)

Plus my life is too busy right now I couldn't even fit in a bf lol

That's a really good idea. Someone who is on the same journey as you and gets it. But what if that person slacks off? The safest is to stay single until you are where u want to be.

    ^^ this

I had planned on staying single as well but then I met a guy who's pretty great and turns out he's on a weight loss journey as well so it really works out for both of us. It's great to have his support.
