Ok so I've heard great things about this Polor FT7 and I'm thinking of getting myself one. I just have one BIG question: will my TV or cell phone interfere with the signal? I have a HRM and in the manual (which I couldn't read until AFTER I bought it) it says that a TV or cell phone or other electric stuff could interfere with it and sure enough it does!! and since I'm working out with DVD's this is kinda annoying lol. so basically my HRM is crap. I like what I hear about the Polor FT7. If anyone has one can you tell me if the TV will interfere with it? THANKS!! :)

Oh and the HRM I currently have is the "Oregon Scientific model SE102" just to warn people not to buy that one.

I got the FT7 for Valentine's Day, and haven't had interference. The only problem I have is that I can't maintain the signal overnight while I sleep.....I wanted to get a full 24 hour read. It is easy to use and pretty comfortable.
  • Hi I have a Polar FT4 and love it! I have either my mp3 player or music on my phone playing when I walk and have never had a problem with interference! It is also wateproof so I can wash the strap and also walk in the rain without fear of damaging it!
  • I have a Polar FT7 as does my husband. We've never experienced interference with them. And we LOVE having them! One of the best investments we've ever made (next to my pair of properly fitted running shoes.)
