New to MFP, introducing myself! =)

Hello all,

I joined MFP a little over a week ago, with a starting weight of about 161.6 lbs and have already lost about 3lbs. So far, so good, right? I have been doing well with my eating and have been better about exercising regularly (somewhere between 4-5 days per week), doing either Zumba or some form of cardio and/or weight lifting.

My initial goal was to lose about 5lbs before my birthday weekend (march 9-11), as my husband is planning this big fancy dinner that involves my wearing this great red dress that I just bought last weekend. It looks good now, but my tummy leaves a little to be desired. Anyway, ultimately, I'd like to get to get down somewhere between 145-140lbs by summer time. Yes, I want to look good for bikini season, like anyone else, but ultimately I want to be healthy for myself, for my husband and the family we're trying to start, and to set a good example for the rest of my family, friends and patients.

I'm introducing myself to find some friends around my age who are also trying to do the same. Feel free to add me! There is never such a thing as too much moral support on the road to getting healthy!
